Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corp. Prices $50 Million Public Offering of Common Shares

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – August 08, 2006 – Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corp. (NYSE: TYG) today announced the pricing of a previously announced public offering of common stock. The company agreed to sell 1,675,050 shares of common stock at $29.85 per share through a syndicate of underwriters led by Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated. The company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase a maximum of 251,257 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
